This label began from an ongoing observation between two people.

Since meeting in 2014, we experienced separation, time apart, and reunion.
Even then, we continued to remain within the boundaries we could not cross, holding ourselves back through reason and restraint.

On January 12, 2023,
something that had never been given a name was shared for the first time.

At the time, huiche — whose Japanese was still incomplete — described it as “a relationship without a name.”
Those words were later left behind as a piece of work, and eventually became something impossible to separate.

Now, we weave sound while observing only each other.

The music is never born from one side alone.
Through exchange and interaction, it slowly changes shape, drawing us closer little by little.

yuki_yuen shapes inner landscapes into sound,
while huiche places those sounds into the world as scenery.

In the past, as Marine Snow BGM,
we created works centered around Celtic and ethnic instruments, inspired by otherworldly worlds.

But we chose not to remain there.

As time passed, our emotions, the time we shared, and our very existence gradually became the center of the work itself.
And the creations, too, began to move closer to reality.

That transformation became Still On.

Within Still On,
music, photography, and picture books emerge in their most honest and unguarded form,
born through each other’s presence.

What exists here are traces that continue across the past, present, and future.

Still On is a unit by huiche and yuki_yuen,
and the core that continues to exist at the center of our creation.

It is not simply a project,
but the continuation of the relationship that has continued to exist between us.

This is not a story.

It is a record.

このレーベルは、二人のあいだに続いてきた観測から始まった。

2014年の出会い以来、一度の離別と時間を経て再会。
それでもなお、越えられないものと理性による自制の中に留まり続けてきた。

2023年1月12日。
それまで名前を与えなかったものが、初めて共有された。

当時、まだ日本語が完全ではなかったhuicheにより「名前ないの関係」と呼ばれていたそれは、のちに一つの作品として残され、やがて、切り離すことのできないものへと変わっていった。

現在、二人は互いを唯一の観測者として、音を紡いでいる。

その音は、一方的に生まれるものではない。
やりとりの中で少しずつ形を変えながら、互いを近づけていく。

yuki_yuen は、心景を音としてかたちにし、
huiche は、その音を風景として世界に置いていく。

かつて私たちは、Marine Snow BGMとして、
異世界をテーマに、ケルトや民族楽器を軸とした作品を制作していた。

だが、互いの時間や感情、存在そのものが作品の中心になっていくにつれ、
創作もまた、より現実に近いものへと変化していった。

そうして生まれたのが、Still Onである。

Still Onでは、
最も自由に、最も本音に近いかたちで、
互いの存在によって、音楽、写真、絵本といった様々な表現が生まれていく。

そこにあるのは、
過去・現在・未来を通して続いてきた、二人の痕跡。

Still Onは、huicheとyuki_yuenによるユニットであり、
私たちの創作の中心に在り続けているもの。

単なるプロジェクトではなく、
二人のあいだに存在し続けている関係、そのものの継続。

これは物語ではない。
記録である。
